For 5-hours a day for 10 days your SON or DAUGHTER will experience an opportunity through military-style physical and mental challenges to develop leadership and character. The young men and women learn about the power of teamwork, the importance of respect for self and others and build the confidence to achieve their goals.
This program is open to ALL men and women in any area from ages 12-16. The Dallas County Sheriff's Office, Juvenile Court Services, Dallas Center Police Department, and the Waukee Police Department provide personnel to teach subjects and interact with cadets. Registration packets can be picked up from any of these agencies, downloaded from the City's website or click here. Class sizes are limited so register your cadet as soon as possible.
With a mix of in-classroom topics and outdoor team building activities, the cadet will leave a little stronger, flying a little higher, standing a little taller and feeling a greater sense of accomplishment.
Cost: $85 which includes pants, t-shirt and hat for each cadet
Dates/Times: Men - June 4 through June 15 (no weekends); 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
