Waukee Parks and Recreation hosts a number of adult sports programs. View the program guide (coming soon) for more information. Adult sports leagues fill up quickly, so do not delay signing up!

Bags League

Bags League is played on Wednesday evenings at Centennial Park. The league has space for 16 two-person teams. Registrants must sign up as a team; individuals will not be taken. Bags League will start June 7 and should be completed by August 9. Teams may be split into Competitive and Recreational Divisions. Register

Coed Sand Volleyball Leagues

League play takes place at the sand volleyball courts in Centennial Park on Thursday nights starting at 6 p.m. or Sunday nights at 5 p.m. This is a “call your own” league, so no referee will be provided. Thursday and Sunday Leagues will run separately and will have both B (competitive) and C (recreational) divisions available. Each team will be guaranteed eight matchesRegister

Coed Softball Leagues

Adult Coed Softball Leagues will be offered at the Centennial Park fields. League action will take place on Tuesday nights only for B-League and Tuesday/Wednesday nights for C-League if enough teams are playing. Games begin at 6:15, 7:15, 8:15 and 9:15 p.m.
There will be two separate leagues: B-League (competitive) and C-League (recreational). Register

Men's Softball Leagues

Adult Men’s Softball Leagues fill up fast, so sign up your team today! The Wednesday night league is played on Field #1 at Centennial Park, and space is limited to 8 teams. The Spring Season will begin on April 13 with a seven-game schedule. The Summer Season is scheduled to begin on June 1 and should be completed by August 24, with a 10-game schedule and single elimination season-ending tournament included. Register

Results Boot Camp

Achieve your fitness goals! Results Boot Camp focuses on working participants at their respective levels while making sure they get results. Participants will perform circuit training, high-intensity interval training and endurance training. Attendees will be given workouts for off-days, along with nutrition coaching. NASM-certified private trainer AJ Hanson will be the instructor. Register

Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention

Tai Chi has been shown to help prevent falls and to improve health and quality of life. Tai Chi can help reduce pain and stiffness through a series of gentle, pain-free movements. It will help improve balance, strength, flexibility and stamina. Register
