The City of Waukee is directed by a Mayor/Council form of government and managed by a City Administrator. The City of Waukee has 74 employees throughout eleven municipal departments which include Administration, Finance, Parks and Recreation, Development Services, Library, Police, Fire, Public Works, Water, Sewer, and Gas Departments.
