As the Director of Community Development for the City of Waukee, I would like to thank you for your development interest in Waukee. As the fastest growing city, in the fastest growing county (Dallas) in the state of Iowa, we are facilitating as much planned growth as possible.

Waukee has put together a comprehensive economic development package that incorporates federal, state and local funding. For example, industrial projects can utilize a five-year incremental tax abatement (See Iowa Code 427B.3), while commercial developers can request a Tax Increment Financing (See Iowa Code 403.5) district.
