7:00 AM until 11:00 AM, "All You Care to Eat" Ages 5 and up – $5.00, Kids 4 and under – Free, This is a fun event for all ages; weather permitting there will be fire truck rides, water fights, demonstrations, kid’s tattoos, coloring and more! All funds raised go towards purchasing equipment and upgrading current equipment and facilities. The breakfast will also give us a chance to show our citizens what all the fire department has to offer. This year we will also be doing something extra for our community and those in need. We have decided to team up with the Waukee Area Christian Food Pantry and host a food drive at our Pancake Event. Our goal is simple; since this is the first time we are advertising this in the mainstream we want to collect as many non-perishables as we can in 4 short hours and exceed our goal of 500 pounds. Their “Top Needs List” includes canned meats (chicken and tuna), canned fruit, boxed meals, fruit juice, and spaghetti sauce. With your help we can easily meet and beat our goal!
