On behalf of the Waukee Fire Department I welcome you and thank you for taking the time to visit our website. We hope you find the Fire Department section of the city website to be educational and interesting as it is our goal to continue to offer excellent service to the residents of this great community and provide information within this website useful in your everyday life.

The city of Waukee is one of the fastest growing communities in the state situated in Dallas County approximately 11 miles west of downtown Des Moines. Our current population is 13,790 residents and we  are continuing to grow.

The mission of the Waukee Fire Department is to minimize the loss of life and property threatened by the hazards of fire, medical, and other emergencies. Our goals are to accomplish this mission daily by providing the highest quality fire protection, emergency medical care, and community education possible.
