Waukee Public Works Facility

The City of Waukee is pleased to announce the completion of the New Public Works Facility, made possible with the help of the IJOBS Local Infrastructure Grant Program. We would like to thank the State of Iowa, Former Governor Chet Culver, IJOBS Board, and Iowa Finance Authority. Enjoy our slide show of the new building. An Open House & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held on Thursday, June 2, 2011.

A reception was held on May 5, 2011 in honor of Vivian Wilson. Mayor Peard presented Vivian with a framed proclamation and a Key to the City in honor of her years of dedication and service to the community.

Sugar Creek Golf Course includes rolling hills, several wooded areas, numerous water hazards along with a few bunkers to test players of all skill levels.

2011 National Night Out

The City of Waukee, Waukee National Night Out Planning Committee, and Dallas County Sheriff's Office recognized this year as the 10-year Anniversary with a celebration in Centennial Park.
