Teaching Background: Jim has been teaching professionally for 18 years.  Specializing in junior golf camps, Jim has expanded Sugar Creek's Junior Golf Program to include 250+ students per summer.  In addition to his duties as General Manager and Head Golf Professional at Sugar Creek, he also performs several hundred individual golf lessons per season.  Jim is also a lead instructor for Kevin Beard's Operation State Champ winter program and is a staff member for JD Turner Corporate Golf Schools.

Education: Graduate Iowa State University-1991

Playing Experience:  Member of Iowa State High School Team Champions (DSM Lincoln)-1983; Match Play Qualifier USGA Junior Am-1985; Match Play Qualifier USGA Publinks Championship-1987,1989; NCAA Individual Qualifier-1990; ISU Team Captain 1989-1991; Member of several Iowa Cup Teams; Winner of several Iowa Section PGA tournaments.

Sarah Bidney    2010 Iowa PGA Teacher of Year

Teaching Background: This is Sarah's 10th year of affiliation with the P.G.A. of America as a golf professional and instructor, 5th as a full-time Teachng Professional. Sarah was recently honored as the 2010 Iowa PGA Teacher of the Year, becomming the first female recipient in the history of the award. She has held teaching positions around central Iowa as well as in Naples, FL, & Park City, Utah. She has mentored with top instructors in the area and with Andrée Martin, a 3-time Top-50 LPGA Instructor. Sarah is the lead instructor in Sugar Creek's Ladies Only Lessons and Play as well as Sugar Creek's Winter Junior Program. She is also a lead instructor in Kevin Beard's Operation State Champ Programs for 7 years. From 2006-2010 Sarah has been named a PGA President's Award recipient.

Chad Proehl     2010 Iowa PGA Player of the Year

Teaching Background: 2010 will be Chad's 20th year of affiliation with the P.G.A. of America as a golf professional and instructor.  Chad has held professional positions at several Iowa golf facilities including the Wakonda Club, Atlantic G & CC, Echo Valley Country Club, Jester Park Golf Course and Sugar Creek Municipal Golf Course.  Chad also has been involved as a lead instructor at Kevin Beard's Operation State Champ winter golf program and is a staff member of JD Turner Corporate Golf Schools.

Education:  Chad graduated from Grand View College in 1989.

Playing Experience:  Chad recently won top honors as the 2010 Iowa PGA Player of the Year and will be competing on the PGA Tour's John Deere Classic in 2011. He was also the Iowa High School Individual Medalist-1985;  NAIA All-American at Grand View College-1989; Participated in five Northern Club Professional Regional's as well as three National Club Professional Championships; Member of several Iowa Cup Teams; Winner of several Iowa Section PGA tournaments; Qualified for and competed in the 2008 John Deere Classic on the PGA Tour.

Judd Gibb      PGA Teaching Professional

Biography: A native of Ft. Dodge, Iowa, Gibb was a four-year letterwinner on the Cyclone golf team from 1987-92. He was a member of two NCAA Regional teams with the Cyclones (1991, 1992), tying for 81st as a junior at the 1991 NCAA Central Regional in Bartlesville, Okla. He placed fifth at the 1990 Bradley Invitational and was named team captain of the 1991-92 ISU squad.

Gibb turned professional following his collegiate career, working at Ft. Dodge Country Club while playing in various professional events on mini-tours (1992-98). He was an assistant professional at Des Moines Golf and Country Club from 1998-2002 before accepting a position with the Legacy Golf Club. In 2009-2010 Gibb was the Assistant Men's Golf Coach at Iowa State University.

An accomplished golfer, Gibb has been named the PGA Iowa Section player of the year five times (2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006) and has been voted section teacher of the year twice (2003, 2005). He won the 2004 Herman Sani title.
