Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I register?

Register online by clicking the program registration link above or by clicking on the registration form and printing it.  Fill out the registration form and mail it in with payment to : Waukee Parks and Recreation 805 University Ave. Waukee, IA 50263.  You may also drop off a completed registration form and payment at 805 University Ave. between 8:00am-4:00pm. 

  • When do I register?

Because we hire staff according to the number of registrations received, it is very important that you sign up early! 

  • Photo Policy

Occasionally photos may be taken of participants in the programs and activities offered by the Waukee Parks and Recreation Department.  Please be aware that these photos may be used in future brochures and on this website.

  • Confirmation

The Waukee Parks and Recreation Department does not send confirmation letters.  Please mark your calendars when signing up for a program.

  • Refund Policy

A $5.00 nonrefundable handling fee will be deducted from the refund when an enrollee withdraws prior to the first day of class.  Once the first day arrives, refunds are not given unless the program is cancelled by the Parks and Recreation Department.

Have a program idea?

Persons who are interested in programs and activities not offered by the Waukee Parks and Recreation Department, or who feel qulaified in a specific area and would be interested in teaching, supervising, or volunteering in such an activity should contact the Parks and Recreation Department.  We are always open to new ideas and activities!
