Sex Offender Registry Information

Under a State Law passed in 2002, sex offenders in Iowa may not live within 2,000 feet of a school, day care center, or home day care. The City of Waukee--with assistance from Dallas County -- has created a map that shows the areas that are restricted under this law.

The City has taken all reasonable steps to ensure that the information provided in this map is accurate and up-to-date.  However, as day care centers and home day care businesses open, close or relocate, the information may become out of date without the City's knowledge.

Every effort will be made to periodically confirm the information contained in the map.
