Waukee's Kettlestone Development is home to several miles of trails and four public ponds.

Trails

Nearly six miles of trails currently wind through Kettlestone. Trail users can cross safely via pedestrian underpasses beneath both Grand Prairie Parkway and Westown Parkway. Currently, the trail system connects the east side of Kettlestone near Holmes Murphy to the Kettleview Development on the west side and up into the neighborhoods to the north.

Ponds

Two ponds are located adjacent to the Holmes Murphy office building, located at 2727 Grand Prairie Parkway. Kettlestone Village Pond is located adjacent to the Kettleview Development, located at 2505 SE Encompass Drive, on the west side of Grand Prairie Parkway. Both ponds are stocked with fish through the Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Fish Local program. Ponds are open to the public. Fishing licenses are required. Learn more and see a map of pond locations. Kettlestone Village Pond is not yet stocked with fish.
