Junior Golf Programs
All youth golf programs are coordinated and supervised by Clubhouse staff and golf professionals with the assistance of local collegiate and/or high school golfers. Register for lessons and camps beginning March 1, 2020 at 8 a.m.!
Pee Wee Golf Lessons
Children who get a good start in golf should enjoy the game for a lifetime. Instruction includes an introduction to the full swing, putting, chipping, rules and etiquette. There is a 5:1 student-to-teacher ratio and juniors may attend more than one session. Missed lessons will not be made up unless weather-related. Affordable junior golf sets are available for purchase through the Sugar Creek Golf Shop. These lessons are designed for children ages 5-8. The fee is $50. Register

Intermediate Junior Golf Camps
The Intermediate Junior Golf Program is geared toward students ages 9-14 who have some golf experience or have attended camps before. The 12 hours of instruction cover golf rules, etiquette and course management, along with basic golf skills. In addition, all participants will receive a junior golf tee gift. Refreshments are served each day. Camp runs from 8-11 a.m. at Sugar Creek Municipal Golf Course. Dates are dependent upon session. Register

Junior Waukee City Championship - Wednesday, Aug. 5
Juniors can enjoy this 9-hole stroke play tournament for players 12-16 years old. Age divisions will be 12-13, 14-15 and 16. Start at 9 a.m. and stay for lunch after! The fee is $20. Call the Sugar Creek Municipal Golf Course Clubhouse at 515-987-5247 to register.
Camper Discounted Play Program
At the completion of the Intermediate Junior Golf camps, all participants will be qualified to play golf for the discounted rate of $5 per 9-hole round. Ages 11 and under will need adult supervision for the Discounted Play Program. Ages 12 and up may play without adult supervision. The discounted rate is in effect for the remainder of the 2020 golf season, provided the junior golfers secure a tee time.
