- Piping must be installed from the meter to the structure by the builder or contractor.
- The builder or contractor will need to contact Waukee Public Works Office at 515-987-4363 to schedule a meter turn on.
- The Waukee Municipal Gas Superintendent will unlock, turn on the gas and perform a 5 minute no-flow check on the meter. If the test is passed, then the meter will be left on. If it fails the test, then the gas will be turned back off and locked and the city will contact the builder or contractor.
