Waukee Police Officers raise money each holiday season to take underprivileged kids shopping for holiday gifts for themselves and their families.
Each fall, the Waukee Police Department raises money to put together baskets of food so Waukee families in need can have Thanksgiving dinners.
Waukee Area Seniors and Police (WASP)
WASP is a group of senior which meets for lunch monthly with members of the Waukee PD to discuss crime and how it impacts the elderly, etc.

Waukee Crimestoppers is an organization that helps solve crimes in the community by offering a reward for any information that may help solve a crime.
Women ages 16 years and older can learn realistic self-defense tactics and techniques in a small class with a certified instructor.
