Community organizations are welcome to submit events to the City of Waukee Events Calendar from the “Add Event” button on the homepage. The City encourages submission of events which cater to the whole community such as pancake breakfasts, free concerts, ribbon cuttings and so on. The Events Calendar is not intended to promote private programming or sales initiatives, or to support a political party or candidate. The City has the right to decline any calendar submissions.

WASP (Waukee Area Seniors & Police)

After a long hiatus, the Waukee Police Department’s WASP (Waukee Area Seniors & Police) program will resume on Wednesday, March 30 at 9 a.m. Officers encourage seniors to stop by the Community Center for coffee and breakfast. The program will continue to take place on the last Wednesday of every month at 9 a.m. This program is designed to help reduce criminal victimization of the elderly.
