Community organizations are welcome to submit events to the City of Waukee Events Calendar from the “Add Event” button on the homepage. The City encourages submission of events which cater to the whole community such as pancake breakfasts, free concerts, ribbon cuttings and so on. The Events Calendar is not intended to promote private programming or sales initiatives, or to support a political party or candidate. The City has the right to decline any calendar submissions.

Each month we'll explore a title in the fun nonfiction series, "Who Would Win?", followed by an extended learning activity. For students entering grades 2-5.

Each month we will explore a title in this fun nonfiction series, followed by an extended learning activity. We will chart data, consult maps, make predictions, and use our imaginations to figure out which animal would come out on top! Participants do not need to read the book in advance. For students entering grades 2-5. Registration is required.

This month we will explore Polar Bear vs. Grizzly Bear. (This is a repeat of the June 17 session.)
