Stonewall Generation: LGBTQ Elders on Sex, Activism, and Aging

Saturday, June 25, 2022

Sexuality researching Dr. Jane Fleishman will give an online talk on her award-winning book, "The Stonewall Generation: LGBTQ Elders on Sex, Activism, and Aging."

Sexuality researcher Dr. Jane Fleishman will give a talk on her award-winning book "The Stonewall Generation: LGBTQ Elders on Sex, Activism, and Aging."

In the book, Dr. Fleishman shares the stories of fearless elders in the LGBTQ community who came of age around the time of the 1969 Stonewall riots. In candid interviews, they lay bare their struggles, strengths, activism, and sexual liberation. These are the stories of those whose lives were changed forever by Stonewall and who in turn became agents of change themselves.

Registration is required for this online talk. Those who are registered to "attend" will be emailed a private link to the video—so double-check that you have entered a valid email address! The book talk video will only be available to view from Saturday, June 23 at 1 PM until Saturday, July 2.

Note: This is an adult program and as such Dr. Fleishman's talk is aimed at adults. Viewer discretion is advised.
