Community organizations are welcome to submit events to the City of Waukee Events Calendar from the “Add Event” button on the homepage. The City encourages submission of events which cater to the whole community such as pancake breakfasts, free concerts, ribbon cuttings and so on. The Events Calendar is not intended to promote private programming or sales initiatives, or to support a political party or candidate. The City has the right to decline any calendar submissions.

Enjoy 25-30 minutes of stories, songs, and rhymes, followed by a simple craft to take home to make. Preschool storytime is recommended for children and their caregivers who are able to sit still for longer stories to develop school readiness; this is generally children ages 3.5-5 years old. Each session in the same week is a repeat event; participants are asked to limit attendance to one session per week. Registration is required and opens on the Monday of the preceding week.
