Community organizations are welcome to submit events to the City of Waukee Events Calendar from the “Add Event” button on the homepage. The City encourages submission of events which cater to the whole community such as pancake breakfasts, free concerts, ribbon cuttings and so on. The Events Calendar is not intended to promote private programming or sales initiatives, or to support a political party or candidate. The City has the right to decline any calendar submissions.

Join us Thursday, September 8 at The Palms Theatres & IMAX for our 10th Annual Waukee Economic Development Bus Tour presented by: Downing Construction. This free-to-attend event draws members, Waukee leaders, and the Waukee area community together to see current development projects and learn about exciting upcoming projects. City of Waukee staff lead the guided tour, with a social hour following for networking. 2:30-3:00 pm - Registration and networking 3:00-3:20 pm - Program 3:30-4:30 pm - Bus tour 4:30-5:30 pm - Social hour with live music This event offers opportunities to promote your organization in our economic development program, inside The Palms Theatres & IMAX–our home base to start and end the event–or on the buses.
