Community organizations are welcome to submit events to the City of Waukee Events Calendar from the “Add Event” button on the homepage. The City encourages submission of events which cater to the whole community such as pancake breakfasts, free concerts, ribbon cuttings and so on. The Events Calendar is not intended to promote private programming or sales initiatives, or to support a political party or candidate. The City has the right to decline any calendar submissions.

Enjoy 20-25 minutes of short stories, songs, and lots of movement, followed by playtime to build early literacy skills. Recommended for 18 mo.-3 year-olds and their caregivers. Each session in the same week is a repeat event; participants are asked to limit attendance to one session per week.  Monthly registration is required and opens on August 15.
