Community organizations are welcome to submit events to the City of Waukee Events Calendar from the “Add Event” button on the homepage. The City encourages submission of events which cater to the whole community such as pancake breakfasts, free concerts, ribbon cuttings and so on. The Events Calendar is not intended to promote private programming or sales initiatives, or to support a political party or candidate. The City has the right to decline any calendar submissions.

Enjoy 25-30 minutes of stories, songs, and rhymes, then stay to make a craft that goes along with the stories. Preschool storytime is recommended for children and their caregivers who are able to sit still for longer stories to develop school readiness; this is generally children ages 3.5-5 years old. Each session in the same week is a repeat event; participants are asked to limit attendance to one session per week. Monthly registration is required and opens on August 15.

If you or anyone in your household is feeling unwell in any way, please help prevent the spread of illness by limiting your library use to online and curbside services only until all are feeling better.
