Community organizations are welcome to submit events to the City of Waukee Events Calendar from the “Add Event” button on the homepage. The City encourages submission of events which cater to the whole community such as pancake breakfasts, free concerts, ribbon cuttings and so on. The Events Calendar is not intended to promote private programming or sales initiatives, or to support a political party or candidate. The City has the right to decline any calendar submissions.

Enjoy 25-30 minutes of stories, songs, and rhymes, then stay to make a craft that goes along with the stories. Preschool storytime is recommended for children and their caregivers who are able to sit still for longer stories to develop school readiness; this is generally for children ages 3.5-5 years old. Each session in the same week is a repeat event; participants are asked to limit attendance to one session per week.

Registration is required once for the month and opens on December 19. ONE registration will get you signed up for all of the month's sessions: January 10, 17, 24 & 31.
