pet licenses web

The City of Waukee's pet licensing partner PetData will be mailing license renewals the week of Nov. 11 for the 2020 calendar year. For existing pets, please follow the instructions in the mailing to renew.

If your dog or cat goes missing and is picked up by the Waukee Police Department, it is more likely to be quickly identified, if it is licensed.

To apply for a new pet license, please visit PetData.com. Specific questions can be directed to the customer service line at 1-855-585-8157 (toll-free).

Dog and cat licenses cost $15 for altered pets and $25 for unaltered pets. Waukee residents are required to license pets annually per City ordinance. A proof of rabies vaccination is required. In the City of Waukee, no more than three cats and three dogs are permitted.
