Foundation Planning "Headed for Home" Event

Headed for Home!

The Waukee Betterment Foundation is reaching the bottom of the 9th with its efforts to make Triumph Park's all-inclusive amenities come to fruition. Members of the public are invited to toast to the Foundation's amazing current project donors and to learn more about supporting the project at "Headed for Home" on Thursday, Sept. 30! The event will be held from 5-7 p.m. at Kinship Brewing Company, which is located at 255 NW Sunrise Drive in Waukee. A special donor recognition moment will take place at 5:30 p.m.

Triumph Park is located north of Hickman Road next to Waukee’s Northwest High School. When opened in June 2022, it will feature a sports complex with 12 softball/baseball fields, practice areas, concessions, parking, an 11-acre pond, greenspaces, trails, the EPIC Inclusive Playground, the Greater Iowa Credit Union Miracle League® Field and an ADA-compliant fishing pier. Triumph Park will serve as a regional destination for sports tournaments and outdoor activities for those of all abilities.

Visit the Foundation's Facebook event page to RSVP.
