Help Youth with Special Needs Play Baseball

You'll get to see joy on the faces of youth with special needs as they experience the fun of baseball. Sign up individually or as a group. Log some volunteer hours for your company or gather friends to volunteer together. It's even a great way to get out as a family to give back to the community! Help Incoming Kindergarteners Learn Safety Tips

Serve on the Library Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees provides Applications are open through June 2 for Waukee residents. If you believe our public library serves an important role in the community, consider applying to join the Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees is responsible for establishing Library policy, authorizing services provided by the Library and establishing the Library budget for the Waukee Public Library. Trustees are appointed by the mayor for a three-year term and meet the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. at the Library. Apply at Waukee.org/TrusteeApplication.

Volunteer at the Library

The Waukee Public Library Foundation invites community members to volunteer at the upcoming Spring Book Sale, May 18-20. If you're able to help set up the sale, check out customers or donate baked goods, go to BookSaleSignUp to choose your shift. Direct questions to waukeeplfoundation@gmail.com.

Teen volunteers interested in helping out at the library can complete a volunteer application. Then contact Keri at kweston-stoll@waukee.org to sign up for orientation and shifts. It's a good way to earn silver cord hours.
