Waukee residents can order up to two low-cost trees per household through the canopy program with Waukee Parks and Recreation. Planting trees improves air quality and helps protect and nourish the soil. Bonus: they look pretty, too!
Residents can reserve their trees starting 8 a.m. on August 31 at Waukee.org/Registration until trees are sold out. Choose from 10 species, ranging from $28-44 per tree, including oaks, maples, pines, apricot and more. Pick your trees up on Thursday, October 5.
