Community organizations are welcome to submit events to the City of Waukee Events Calendar from the “Add Event” button on the homepage. The City encourages submission of events which cater to the whole community such as pancake breakfasts, free concerts, ribbon cuttings and so on. The Events Calendar is not intended to promote private programming or sales initiatives, or to support a political party or candidate. The City has the right to decline any calendar submissions.

  1. Waukee Crime Stoppers Golf Outing

    September 25, 2019, 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM @ Sugar Creek Municipal Golf Course

    The Annual Waukee Crime Stoppers Golf Outing will be held Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2019 at Waukee's Sugar Creek Golf Course. The cost for this event is $60 per person ($240 per team). This price includes 18 holes of golf, two riding carts per team and lunch served at the course. Please pre-register by sending an entry form and fee to: Waukee Crime Stoppers, 204 West Hickman Road, Waukee, Iowa 50263. Please make checks payable to Waukee Crime Stoppers. Space is limited so please register early to guarantee a spot for your team. Individuals without a team will be assigned to a team.   6. Elementary Early-Out Discoveries

    Bring your creativity and scientific mind to the library to explore a variety of STEAM (Science Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) stations during a fun hour of hands-on learning. Explore as few or as many stations as you like throughout the hour. Activities will be different each month. For students in grades K-5 and their care-givers. No registration required.

  7. Waukee Downtown Farmers Market

    Presented by the Waukee Triangle Businesses, the Farmers Market is held in the Downtown Triangle every Wednesday evening during the summer and features local food vendors, fresh produce, handmade items and live music.

  8. Waukee Canopy Tree Pick-Up

    September 25, 2019, 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM @ Waukee Public Works Building

    New this year, the Parks & Recreation Department is running its own tree program called Waukee Canopy. WAUKEE RESIDENTS can order up to two low-cost trees through this program. There will be seven species from which to choose. The department will take orders beginning Aug. 15 and ending when trees are sold out. Trees may only be claimed if you have already pre-ordered them.
