Community organizations are welcome to submit events to the City of Waukee Events Calendar from the “Add Event” button on the homepage. The City encourages submission of events which cater to the whole community such as pancake breakfasts, free concerts, ribbon cuttings and so on. The Events Calendar is not intended to promote private programming or sales initiatives, or to support a political party or candidate. The City has the right to decline any calendar submissions.

  1. Mixed Couples Event

    June 26, 2020, All Day @ Sugar Creek Municipal Golf Course

    Spend Friday night at Sugar Creek Municipal Golf Course. This 9-hole, two-person scramble event includes greens fees, cart, range balls, appetizers, dinner and prizes. The fee is $60 per couple. Call 515-987-5247 for more information.

  2. Kids' Curbside Activity Bags

    June 26, 2020, 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM @ Waukee Public Library

    Each week in the month of July, our Youth Services staff will be sharing a fun craft or STEM activity online, intended for students entering grades K-5 in the fall. Register to pick up one of these activity bags that will hold the supplies for the 4 activities in July. Pick-up location and instructions will be announced by mid-June. If registration is full, or if you prefer to use your own supplies, watch the library's online communications for advance lists of supplies needed to complete the activities.
