Community organizations are welcome to submit events to the City of Waukee Events Calendar from the “Add Event” button on the homepage. The City encourages submission of events which cater to the whole community such as pancake breakfasts, free concerts, ribbon cuttings and so on. The Events Calendar is not intended to promote private programming or sales initiatives, or to support a political party or candidate. The City has the right to decline any calendar submissions.

    Enjoy Hollywood’s biggest hits under the stars with Movies in the Park sponsored by NCMIC! Movies in the Park is FREE and provides an abundance of fun. Showtime is at dusk (approximately 8:45 p.m.) in Centennial Park. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and refreshments, and get ready to make memories with family and friends. IMPORTANT NOTE: Social distancing signs will be present within Centennial Park during this event. Visitors are encouraged to stay in their vehicles or to find a spot to sit within the park that is at least six feet from any other group. “Toy Story 4” (G) - When a new toy called Forky joins Woody and the gang, a road trip alongside old and new friends reveals how big the world can be for a toy.
