Warmer than average temperatures allowed construction on Phase II of Waukee's Fox Creek Park to move along in December 2018. Crews are making progress on building the park's indoor shelter building. On the north end of the park, half of the tennis court has been poured, and three out or four of the Pickleball courts have been poured. Digging has begun for utilities related to the splash pad, and the site is being prepared for the park area. Phase II is expected to be completed in summer 2019. Greenspaces and trails are still open in Fox Creek Park.
