On Thursday, Jan. 23, the Waukee Betterment Foundation and the City of Waukee will welcome guests to The Palms Theatres & IMAX for announcements of epic proportions!
The City will reveal the official name and logo of the highly anticipated Waukee Community Park & Sports Complex. The Waukee Betterment Foundation will share a fundraising and project update for the all-inclusive portion of the park. And, they will recognize some superstar project donors.
But, why host this at a movie theater, you might ask? Because the real show is the video reveal of the Epic Inclusive Playground designed by Landscape Structures. The company designs only one “Epic” Inclusive Playground per year, and this will be the most inclusive one of this size to date.
Grab some popcorn and a theater recliner for this exciting screening. It’s rated A for “all”, so bring your friends! Snacks and socializing will start at 4 p.m. with the main event beginning at 4:30 p.m.
