I-80 will experience overnight closures to allow crews to install beams for the Ashworth Road overpass bridge. There will be a full closure of I-80 West between Exit 121 – Jordan Creek Parkway and Exit 118 – Grand Prairie Parkway on Wednesday, Sept. 22 and Thursday, Sept. 23 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. nightly, ending on Friday, Sept. 24 at 5:00 a.m. There will also be a full closure of I-80 East between Exit 118 – Grand Prairie Parkway and Exit 121 – Jordan Creek Parkway on Monday, Sept. 27, Tuesday, Sept. 28 and Wednesday, Sept. 29 from 10:00 p.m to 5:00 a.m. nightly, ending on Thursday, Sept. 30 at 5:00 a.m. A signed detour will route traffic around the closure using Grand Prairie Parkway, University Avenue and Jordan Creek Parkway. Please use caution when traveling in the area.
