The Waukee Police Department is gearing up for its holiday giving programs. In November, the department will coordinate and deliver the makings of a Thanksgiving meal to 20+ Waukee families through its Thanksgiving Baskets initiative. Police officers also raise money each holiday season to help several families shop for holiday gifts with Operation Wish List. Shopping will take place in December. It is the support of the Waukee community that makes these programs possible.
