Ashworth Road is now open east of Ute Avenue, making Ashworth available to traffic all the way through Waukee. The entire project is anticipated to wrap by the end of the year, weather permitting.
Shifts, changes and closures:
- Ute Avenue at Ashworth will have lane closures Thursday, 12/1 from 9-2 as crews pave the southbound lanes. Flaggers will guide traffic through the area. Please slow down and use extra caution.
- Ashworth open to traffic. Continue to use caution when driving in this area as work continues along Ashworth Road to finish the project.
- Lanes on Ute Avenue through the Ute Avenue/Ashworth Road intersection are under construction. Follow the cones and signs to navigate the intersection. Weather permitting, the new lanes are expected to open by the end of the year.
- Silverleaf Lane is closed at Ute Avenue (potentially until project completion in December). To access the Willow Pines neighborhood from Ute Avenue, use Jackpine Drive.
