The intersection of Ute Avenue and Ashworth Rd will be a 4-way flashing red light for the remainder of this morning while crews work on the permanent signal. You may want to choose an alternate route or allow a little extra travel time. The signal is expected to be operational with all three colors by afternoon school dismissal. Thank you for your patience.
New updates:
- Silverleaf Lane has reopened at Ute Avenue.
- New lanes, including the turn lane are open to traffic. Cones mark the median and edges of the roadway that aren't fully finished.
- Over the coming weeks, crews will be cleaning up the site, backfilling medians, grading for the trail and sidewalk ramps, finishing the permanent signal installation. Please continue to use caution when driving in this area.
- The sidewalk/trail along Ute and Ashworth will be finished in the spring.
- Streetlights will likely be installed this spring due to weather because final grading is needed adjacent to the roadway before lights can go in.
