The City of Waukee tested a new notification email for utility customers that lets you know your utility bill has updated. We apologize for any confusion the notification email caused. This was a test email and is not expected to repeat next month.
- This email automatically includes a link to sign up for automatic payments, even if you are already signed up for auto-pay. You do not need to sign up for automatic payments again as your payment details are still active.
- This notification does not change how you get your bills. If you get paper bills each month, you'll still receive that in the mail. If you get a bill emailed to you, that will still come to the same email.
- The auto-pay link within the notification email only applies for credit cards, which has a higher fee. If you would like to sign up for auto-pay directly from your bank account, please fill out the form under Automatic Payments on our website here.
For additional questions, refer to Waukee.org, email our Utility Billing Department at WaukeeUtilities@waukee.org or call 515-978-5502.
*On Thursday, April 27, we have higher than normal call volume to Utility Billing, so there may be a longer wait to speak to a billing specialist. Thank you for your patience.
