Waukee Police Sgt. Jeff Mellencamp completed a 10-week program through the Northwestern University Center for Public Safety. The course, which started in March 2016, required Mellencamp to attend two weeks at a time, then be back at work for two weeks. He now has a School of Police Staff and Command Degree.
