At the March 1, 2021 regular meeting of the Waukee City Council, a site plan was approved for Shine Shop Carwash, to be located south of SE University Avenue and west of SE Waco Place. The single-story carwash site is approximately 1.10 acres, and the building is about 4,500 square feet in area. The site plan identifies vacuums and a vacuum equipment enclosure to the east of the proposed building.
