Waukee Police Officer Brian Murra was recently promoted to the rank of Sergeant. He took his Oath of Office on Monday, Aug. 12. Sgt. Murra was well-known for his impact as a School Resource Officer at Waukee High School and has served as an overall important team member of the Waukee PD since 2012.
At the same gathering, Sgt. Hector Arias was recognized for his move to the Criminal Investigations Division, and Officer Chris Kickbush was applauded for completing his field training. New Waukee Police Officers Bryan Levsen, Joshua Eastcott and McKenna Olberding were also welcomed to the department. They will soon attend the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy.
