New this year, the Waukee Parks & Recreation Department is running its own tree program called Waukee Canopy. WAUKEE RESIDENTS can order up to two low-cost trees through this program. There will be seven species from which to choose. The department will take orders beginning Aug. 15 and ending when trees are sold out. Order trees online (click on "Register for Activities" and then "Waukee Canopy") now until trees are sold out. Prices range from $25-50 based on tree species. They can be picked up on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at the Waukee Public Works Building from 5:30-7 p.m. Call 515-978-0007 with questions.
