[ARCHIVED] Waukee Fire Department Welcomes Josh Seddon to the Full-Time Team

seddon

The Waukee Fire Department recently hired a "new" full-time firefighter/paramedic. The position is new, but Josh is no stranger to the department; he has been a paid on-call member of the Waukee Fire Department since 2012. Now he will respond to fire and medical calls as a full-time employee. Josh is a U.S. Navy veteran and Iowa State University graduate, and he and his wife Cari have two daughters.

"Josh has been an impressive team member for more than five years now," said Chief Clint Robinson. "We had some great candidates for this position, but Josh rose to the top. His experience and commitment to saving lives will prove to be huge assets even more so now that he is with us full-time."

The Waukee Fire Department currently employs 10 full-time people and more then 25 paid on-call firefighter/paramedics.
