A wonderful and thoughtful Waukee middle school student thanked the Waukee Police Department for directing traffic at the 5-way stop each day after school. The student made cookies for the department and they loved them! The police department has been directing traffic at the unique intersection since the beginning of the 2014-2015 school year. Their help has increased traffic flow for vehicles, and more importantly, the safety of our students walking home from school.
