Well, it's raining again, which puts a slowdown on some of the Alice's Road progress made during recent dry weather days. However, mainline paving and handwork has been occurring on the portion of Alice’s Road which is south of Hickman Road. Crews will complete grading and subgrade preparation this week into next on the portion north of Hickman Road.
During the week of November 5, rock will be placed on Alice’s Road north of Hickman Road, and paving on the north portion will hopefully begin late in the week of November 12 and continue through the end of November.
Of course, all of this work continues to be weather-dependent.
Sidenote: The Heart of the Warrior Trail underpass, which was closed for several months due to unexpected repairs, is now open and fully operational.
