The City of Waukee is working with local, state and federal partners to keep the community informed about COVID-19, a novel coronavirus. Prevention of COVID-19 is the same as that for other respiratory illnesses (like flu). These actions don’t just protect you. They help keep the whole community safe, especially our most vulnerable residents, by slowing the spread of the disease.
This page on Waukee.org will be updated with news and resources as more information becomes available. Any City event/meeting cancellations, closures or other Waukee-related news will be added to the website as needed. Sign up for these COVID-19 community updates. You may also wish to subscribe to Nixle and/or the City’s website Alert Center to receive urgent announcements, should the situation escalate locally.
Remember that you can practice social distancing and access many City resources online or by phone.
Thanks, and be well!
