"Flushable" doesn’t mean it won’t clog your pipes!
The package says flushable, but is it really? Disposable brushes, wipes, tampons/applicators, etc. may say "flushable" on the label, but they can still clog the sewer line. Toilet paper breaks down in water; other items do not break down. This means other items can get stuck in the sewer pipe creating large bills for plumbing and clean-up. Don’t spend your money on a sewer back-up. TRASH anything that is not toilet paper.
The following items go in the garbage, not in the toilet:
- wrappers (any packaging)
- cotton swabs
- cigarettes
- condoms
- sanitary napkins
- tampons and tampon applicators
- baby wipes/personal hygiene wipes
- facial wipes
- disinfecting/cleaning wipes
- paper towels
- facial tissue
- shop towels
Let’s get through this tough time without smelly sewer mishaps:)
