How do I set up my gas, water, and garbage and recycling service?

If you are moving into or purchasing a property within Waukee city limits, set up your account with the Utility Billing Department. We recommend setting up your account at least 24 hours prior to your move-in date. 

  • Residential customer (house, condo or apartment): Set up your account here.
  • New landlord: call the Utility Billing Department at 515-978-5502
  • Commercial (business): call the Utility Billing Department at 515-978-5502

Electricity service is provided by MidAmerican Energy and is not part of your utility bill from the City of Waukee. Call MidAmerican Energy at 1-888-427-5632 to set up service.
