Board members serve a three-year term and they meet every third Thursday. The Parks and Recreation Board plays a vital role advising and assisting the Parks and Recreation Department. The purpose of the Board is to represent the citizens of Waukee by planning, establishing, purchasing, maintaining, along with improving parks, trails, open space, and recreation facilities. In addition to organizing and administering a variety of recreational programs and community events to meet the current and future needs of the Waukee community. Apply today! New appointments occur each January.
